Irene Ryan, better known now as “Granny” on the Beverly Hillbillies TV series, was a busy gal in early Hollywood, partnering with her actor husband, Tim Ryan. As a comedy team, they were successful for about 20 years. Irene was called the “gal who makes Bob Hope laugh,” and obviously, the rest of us. Miss ya, Granny!
